Missy H. Hahn
President & Founder

With more than two decades of operational and management experience in the tourism business, Missy Pike-Hahn has built a reputation as an effective sales and marketing resource and as a proud champion of the volunteer causes and councils that are at the foundation of the industry.

Missy’s official introduction to tourism began on an entrepreneurial note with a charter boat business she launched upon her relocation to Florida in 1988. While she enjoyed a successful career in health care management in her home state of Pennsylvania, she approached her new career with passion and purpose.

Over the ensuing years in the tourism business, Missy’s accomplishments ran the gamut: as a resort sales representative for Virgin Atlantic Airlines with the responsibility for customer satisfaction and vendor liaison, as the marketing director for a dinner cruise company, as an international and domestic sales director for Destiny Yacht Charters of Madeira Beach, and as the Vice President of Tourism & Membership for Tampa Bay Beaches Chamber of Commerce. She has also served as the Director of Sales for the International Museum and the Museum of Science & Industry (MOSI).

Currently in her second term as President of the Board of Directors for Tampa Bay Women in Tourism, Missy has brought her enthusiasm and expertise to every facet of the industry that she knows is so integral to Florida’s economy.

Missy is a fixture as a volunteer and chair for events sponsored by the local chambers. She has given freely of her time to the Executive Board for the Pinellas Park Chamber and has been a board member on the Hospitality, Sales & Marketing Association and a Regional Manager for the Florida Restaurant & Lodging Association where she was responsible for all aspects of events and sales for the Pinellas, Hillsborough, and Manatee county chapters.

Missy’s time and talents can be found wherever there is work to be done: member of the Bay Area Concierge Association, SKAL, Florida Attraction Association, Concierge FAM Task Force, Chairperson for the St. Petersburg Chamber, member of the Pinellas County Hotel/Motel Association, Co-Chair for Tourism Committee of St. Petersburg/Clearwater CVB, and on the Membership Committee for the Tampa Bay Convention and Visitors Bureau.

Missy’s love of the industry itself and of Florida’s natural resources is in synch with its most fervent supporters. She has helped rally for the cause in “Hands Across the Sand” events and the “Say No to Amendment 4” movement.

Even when Missy is out enjoying the local beaches and restaurants, she can spot a tourist a mile away and consistently stops to offer directions, recommendations, and even take their group’s picture. A veritable ambassador of goodwill to residents and visitors alike, Missy’s contributions to our beach communities and regional attractions is indisputable.
